  19.      I know of very few people whose lives have not been touched by the pain
  20. of divorce.  The deep emotional consequences not only affect the two
  21. principals in the action, but family, friends, and even more distant members
  22. of the community.  There are some experts that say that the rate of divorce
  23. may rise to as many as 1 for every 2 marriages, as the pressures of a changing
  24. society rip at marital ties.  Though most of these divorces occur in people
  25. under 35, the number is on the rise for those who have already passed that
  26. mark.  The booklet "Coping with Separation and Divorce" is available without

  30. offered by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) whose booklet

  33. of help to all.
